Player Development and Recruiting Clinic
Our Clinic is designed to provide each player with direct, quality instruction and interaction with college coaches to best prepare athletes to compete at the collegiate level. The morning will consist of skill work and instruction. Offensively, players will receive a combination of tee work, soft toss and machine pitching with college coaches giving instruction and developing skills. Defensively, players will receive a position specific workout simulating game situations. Again, college coaches will be giving instruction and developing skills. In the afternoon, players will play games coached by college coaches. Players will also receive NFCA-determined measurement testing (Agility, 20 yard dash, Overhead Velocity, Batting Measurables, etc).
All players will be listed in a Player Profile Program and Combine Report distributed to college coaches in attendance. The Combine Report will be free to the public and posted on our Web site following the tournament. Players will be able to purchase a two part Digital Profile Package. This includes a video of their individual batting practice with the audio of college coach instruction. Sample Batting Practice Video The Package also includes an Individual Player Profile PDF, which has basic data supplied by the athlete (Graduation Year, Contact Information, GPA, etc), a profile photo taken at the Clinic, as well as all measurement data recorded at the Clinic. Both of these items are ideal for sending to prospective college coaches to give these coaches a more detailed description of who the player is as an athlete. All players participating in the Clinic will also receive a Clinic jersey.
Colleges and Universities participating in the Clinic will be posted on our website, fastpitchshowdowns.com/buckeye-showdown begin May 1st and will be updated on the 1st and 15th of each month as coaches confirm.

We print multiple materials for the clinic including rosters, college coach books and lineups. If you register less than 10 days before the clinic date you will not be included in the printed materials. You will be added to the addendum which goes out to the college coaches approximately 1 week after the Clinic.

If a position is not listed in the drop down above, that specific position has SOLD OUT for this Clinic. We encourage you to register for another position at this Clinic or you may E-mail email@example.com to be placed on a waitlist.
- If the entire Clinic is cancelled due to rain or some other unforeseen event, we will issue you a refund by check, based on the following formula. $50.00 of your paid registration fee will be non-refundable, due to pre-Clinic incurred expenses. The non-refundable amount may increase at the sole discretion of Fastpitch Showdowns, depending upon incurred costs for that Clinic.
- If you withdraw from the Clinic for any reason prior to 14 days before the Clinic date, your registration fee will be refunded minus a $50.00 administration fee.
- If you withdraw from the Clinic for any reason less than 14 days before the Clinic date, no refund will be issued. Registration may be transferable to another Clinic in the current or following season depending on availability. Unfortunately, registrations are NOT transferable to another player. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to transfer your registration to another Clinic.
- Method of refund depends on when payment and refund request are made. Refunds will be issued no later than August 15th.
